Gentleman – currently touring Europe and the US
Germany - German roots reggae artist, Gentleman, has developed a fanbase all over the world. Dividing his time between Germany and Jamaica and singing almost exclusively in English, he is one of the few white European artists to have been truly embraced by the reggae community.

Currently touring his fifth studio album Diversity across Europe and the US, Gentleman recently played the Rothaus Arena in Freiburg where local rental company Coco Sound supplied a Uniline line array system from APG. Philip Sachsenheimer, who has been Gentleman's FoH engineer for the last ten years comments, "Over the last 10 years we have played to audiences ranging from 100 to 50,000 people in every type of venue on every type of sound system.

"However, there is a first time for everything, and this was the first time I'd had the pleasure of using a Uniline system from APG." Coco Sound supplied L & R hangs of six UL210 mid-hi cabinets and three UL115 dedicated bass units per side supplemented by 6 x TB218S and four TB118S subs. The entire system was driven by two Lab.gruppen FP 10000Q and two FP 7000 amplifiers (one each per side) with processing from a pair of DMS26 digital loudspeaker processors from APG.

"Right from the start I was struck by the clarity and definition of the sound, an impression that was confirmed with certainty during the course of the day and the evening. Indeed the sound quality of this particular show was without doubt one of the technical highlights of the tour," declared Sachsenheimer. "The sound image of each individual instrument as well as the voices was incredibly precise. I felt that this system had optimized every detail to the max deliver a clean, pure sound with no loss of sound pressure."
