Le Mark Group will be launching more new products at PLASA 2011 including its new UK and European partnership Pro Tapes & Specialities catalogue. These new items will include products from the Shuretape Arts & Entertainment range, linking with Le Mark's own premium Magtape high performance tapes.

Performance Flooring will feature Manero Classic and the Ultra-Light portable sprung tour floor, as used by Flawless and now available for sale or rental. The company's complete stage safety range of products, combining 'on and back stage' safety accessories, combining anti-slip, photo luminous and cable management, will also be on show.

Le Mark Group, based at Houghton Hill Industries, has been shortlisted for a 2011 East of England International Trade Award. These International Trade Awards, sponsored by Santander Corporate Banking, are the only UK wide business awards to exclusively recognize the success of exporters, importers and those trading overseas.

Despite the challenges posed by current global economic conditions, UK companies like Le Mark are still very much 'out there' competing on the International stage and the 2011 International Trade awards celebrate these ventures and successes.

The 12 regional finalists will be invited to the UK final at a prestigious Gala Luncheon and Awards presentation at the House of Lords where three national award categories winners will be announced. Le Mark was selected for the SME category, as a company that has shown outstanding International Trade achievement with annual sales not exceeding £10 million.

Stuart Gibbons MD of Le Mark, having recently returned from a business development trip to South America commented: "This is extremely exciting for the whole company, in particular the Export Team lead by Matthew Every. We also appreciate the incredible efforts of our manufacturing and production department who have worked so hard to ensure we meet the deadlines needed to compete within an international market".

"As a Huntingdon manufacturer we are extremely pleased to have competed and then be shortlisted with our esteemed 'high tech' colleagues based in Cambridge and the surrounding counties. Once again it proves that with vision, perseverance and dedication British SME's like Le Mark can be an important part of the British Export drive. To win our regional heat would be incredible of course, however to be selected as a 'Finalist' we believe is a fantastic achievement."

Le Mark will have to wait until 22nd September where the regional finalist will be announced at the Doubletree by Hilton in Cambridge.

Never a company to rest on its laurels, Le Mark is planning its next export drive where in October the company will launch a new product range at the LDI show in Orlando, Florida.
