UK - Isle of Wight-based Big Screen Media, specialists in indoor and outdoor large format LED and digital display solutions, were commissioned by luxury department store Harrods, to supply and install LED screens as part of the store's January to February window displays.

Big Screen Media specialise in providing effective digital display solutions by offering a wide range of high quality LED and digital signage displays and equipment to suit all applications. Recently, the company won a prestigious contract with Harrods of Knightsbridge to supply and install several large LED screens as part of the store's iconic window displays for January and February.

Sarah Southgate, Harrods head of window design, commented: "Harrods is at the forefront of luxury and innovation in window display and design. Our latest displays have incorporated advanced LED technology, and in doing this it was important we used the correct imagery and the right size of LED pixels to maximise visual impact for customers."

In total, six LED screens, each one measuring 4m by 3m, were supplied and each displayed unique content produced on behalf of Harrods Magazine. All six of the screens were designed to run in synchronisation to provide an animated story-line across the Harrods frontage looking onto Brompton Road. Big Screen Media worked with lighting and video automation specialists Pharos Architectural Controls of London to provide a solution.

Technical director and hire manager for Big Screen Media, Alex Hall said: "It's fantastic to be approached by one of the world's most famous department stores and be supplying something which is to be a major part of the store's window displays.

"This is the second time we have supplied LED screens in Harrods now and the store is keen to continue working with us in future. Such prestigious contracts do not come around all the time, so we are very privileged to be working with them," Alex concluded.
