Chauvet Professional created a lot of buzz at LDI
USA - Chauvet Professional created a lot of buzz at LDI, drawing healthy crowds eager to see a collection of breakthrough products that included a five-colour LED ellipsoidal, as well as a single source RGBW IP65-rated wash and a new touring version of its popular ÉPIX Series.

"We were very pleased with the widespread interest shown in our products," said Berenice Chauvet, vice president of Chauvet. "I think the response we experienced at LDI this year speaks to the diversity of our product line."

Among the new products attracting attention was the ÉPIX Tour Series, 20mm bars and strips with RGB SMD LEDs that were built for life on the road and engineered to deliver dynamic looks with or without pixel mapping.

Another LDI success for Chauvet Professional was the Ovation E-910FC, a new five-Color RGBA+Lime LED ellipsoidal. Bringing a new level of color to LED ellipsoidal fixtures, this newcomer is powered by 91 3-watt RGBA plus Lime LEDs. Adding to its rainbow of possibilities is a Virtual Color Wheel with 31 colors that match popular gel colors used with traditional tungsten fixtures.

"Our Ovation ellipsoidals have been one of the success stories of 2015, being widely embraced in theatres and churches," said Albert Chauvet, president and CEO of Chauvet. "We feel that with the introduction of the Ovation E-910FC and its tremendous colour rendering capabilities, we're building on this momentum."

Also breaking new ground at LDI was the new COLORado 1 Solo. This powerful IP65-rated par-style wash fixture offers the unique and highly coveted combination of a single-source 60-watt RGBW LED and a wide-ranging 9°-72° Zoom, giving lighting professionals the tools to take their designs to a new level of visual quality, depth and versatility.

"People stopped and did a double take when they saw this fixture's single fully homogenized beam and evenly blended colours," said Albert Chauvet. "A common response we got from visitors was, 'I've got to have this.' Our visitors enjoyed discovering this fixture, and we enjoyed showing it to them. It's what attending a show is all about."
