The experienced Lolo Moldes
Spain - "Sometimes I don't think people realise just how big Spain is. At over half a million square kilometres it is more than twice the size of the UK, yet with 46m inhabitants it's just three quarters the population. That's a lot of territory to cover if you're going to reach everyone equally and fairly."

For David Rosello, who heads up the d&b audiotechnik office in Spain, it seems the dilemmas are more than just audio oriented. "That's why we continually roll out a programme of road shows and seminar workshops; to reach people where they are and with the information they need."

The latest road show commences this spring in Madrid. Besides reaching Spain's capital city it's significant for other reasons. "We have eight established partners across Spain; a comprehensive network that provides a solid, strong support to our customers everywhere, but Madrid has been the trickiest piece to complete the puzzle."

The T-Series road show will be presented by Coupling, the new partner in Madrid. A relatively new name in the pro audio sector, Coupling is fronted by Lolo Moldes, a highly regarded Spanish sound engineer with strong historical credentials in touring theatre, live sound, and more recently in teaching audio.

"For Coupling he's ideal," said Rosello. "His live engineering experience is broad, and with support from our other partners he's quickly coming to grips with what is most important to our customers in the rental and installation sectors, and what their expectations are in terms of service and support."

Following the T-Series road show, Moldes is looking to follow up with a two day seminar, "The road show is very much a product based demonstration," he said. "It introduces people to the design concepts that under-pin the T-Series; how it works; and how it sounds. The seminars are quite different; they are much more about exploring the principals and physics that govern the application of sound reinforcement."

Both presentations are proving popular with the madrileƱos; attendance applications are high. "It's what we find across Spain," concluded Rosello. "If you cover the kilometres the people will come to listen."
