The Netherlands - ELC Lighting, manufacturer of innovative DMX and ethernet control equipment for the entertainment lighting industry, has announced the availability of several new products. The AC612 XL controller is built in the same cabinet as the AC612 mini architectural controller. It can store and recall 12 scenes from the 512 DMX channels, and each scene can be built of up to 120 channels. Storing a scene has to be carried out via an external DMX desk. The DMX input is also able to merge 512 channels, and a Blackout function has been built in.

dmXPOINT FI is a 'Full Isolated' version of the dmXPOINT Digital DMX merger/splitter/router, with opto-couplers isolating each of the outputs. (Both dmXPOINT and dmXPOINT FI have opto-isolated inputs).

ELC also announces a number of upgrades and improvements. focusBRAIN XL is replacing focusBRAIN: hardware changes include two contact closure outputs controlled by the remote and two contact closure inputs. Software changes include 50 scene memories instead of 30, while 50 groups of channels can be created for quicker and easier scene building. The software improvements will be available as software upgrade 2.0 for all the existing focusBRAIN units.

Finally, showSTORE software upgrade 3.0 allows Sync in master / slave as many DSS as you like, allowing shows of an unlimited number of channels; Sync from MIDI time code; Save your files into a PC via the RS-232 port; Read the remaining time of the HD on the display; and easy remote control of the DSS with one (or several daisy chained) AC612 XLs.
