Hervé Odini
France - Digigram has announced the appointment of Hervé Odini to the role of international sales director. Odini will be responsible for all three of Digigram's international sales offices: Grenoble which handles the EMEA region; Singapore for Asia and the Pacific; and Arlington, VA for the Americas. He will also head up the Field Marketing department based at company HQ in Montbonnot, France.

Odini's principal mission will be to define and implement sales strategies across the three territories. In addition to the existing sales partners, a new distribution network is being put in place to handle the new range of Audio over IP products which start shipping in early 2009.

Formally responsible for EMEA OEM sales for Sun Microsystems, Odini comes to his new position with over 20 years experience in the IT and telecommunications industries, notably with HP, IBM, Ericsson and Sun, including twelve years in sales or business development roles.

"This position enables me to be a catalyst for the continued success of Digigram," says Odini. "There is a lot to do with the launch of the new Audio over IP product range as well as the opening up of new territories, new distribution partners and new clients. Having come from a very large international corporation, I'm looking forward to working with a small, hand-picked team in such an innovative and growth market. The prospect of defining and implementing the company's sales strategy is hugely exciting, and I hope that my experience and enthusiasm will have a positive effect on an already highly motivated and competent sales team."

Digigram president and CEO Philippe Delacroix adds: "Hervé's experience makes him ideally suited for this role. "We are confident that having him at the head of all three international sales operations will enable us to develop a strong and cohesive sales strategy that will take us to the next level in terms of market penetration. We have developed an exceptional range of products, and the appointment of Hervé is designed to make sure that the world knows about it."
