Electro-Voice will celebrate the BPM premiere of its EKX loudspeaker family, which be displayed alongside the Electro-Voice ETX Powered Loudspeaker family as well as ZxA1, ZLX and ELX loudspeakers. Dynacord will present the Xa2-PRO system in Birmingham for the first time. Also showcased will be the brand's Vertical Array system, AXM 12A monitor as well as the PM502, PowerMate and CMS mixers.
The EKX series is the newest member of the Electro-Voice portable loudspeaker family, and combines legendary EV sound quality and reliability with the latest technology - all in a lightweight, compact package suitable for a wide range of sound reinforcement scenarios, including musicians, DJs, and live/club/installed sound applications. The EKX series features eight models (four powered and four passive), including 12" and 15" two-way models and 15" and 18" subwoofers.
Due to numerous user requests and continued high demand, Dynacord has given the enclosures of the Xa-2 system an update. Under the new name Xa2-PRO all cabinets will have a new heavy-duty structured lacquer surface and a solid-steel front grille matching the latest Dynacord enclosure design. The front grille caters for increased stability while the structured lacquer surface provides increased protection from dust and dirt and ensures the Xa2-PRO system remains even more durable.
The system offers high sound pressure levels and ultimate sonic performance out of a very compact enclosure as well as extremely convenient handling. Traditional applications include small city open-air festivals and mobile DJ events covering distances up to 40m.
