UK - Sennheiser has expanded its evolution range of performance vocal and dedicated instrument microphones with several new models, including the launch of the new 900 series. These models expand further on the evolution design concept of high performance and exceptional value across a range of competitive price points. All models are German manufactured and of metal construction. The 900 series introduces a newly developed high performance capsule, which feature in three models providing improved sound quality and operational characteristics, such as exceptional gain before feedback levels. Designed for the rigors of professional live stage applications, the 900 series has been created with the sound rental market in mind. Features include shock mounted capsule, high ambient signal rejection cardioid polar pattern and hum compensation coil.

The e903 is a dedicated snare drum microphone, with superior transient reproduction, high SPL handling and extremely low distortion signal capabilities. Capsule suspension, insulation and rugged construction ensure low sensitivity to impact noise or damage. The e935 sets new standards for dynamic vocal microphone performance with modern sound reinforcement system across the full range of sound touring applications. Precisely balanced, low-mid tonality and proximity response combine with the quality and power of the new capsule providing a richness and warmth of tone, with an ability to cut through even the most complex mix with little or no filtering.

A new e606 guitar cab microphone adopts the famous Sennheiser classic flat design, and features a capsule configured especially for modern extended low frequency guitar sounds. The microphone is designed to be used with high levels of overdrive and distortion, performing at very high cabinet SPL and stage volume levels.
