UK - Illuminate Design has been keeping warm during the winter months with their busiest winter period ever, smashing previous records.

The Colchester based company worked on a wide variety of events and productions as well as continually providing a high level of day-to-day support to their regular, loyal customers.

Tilbury Docks was the location for a number of Christmas parties and Illuminate Design were tasked to provide a winter lighting theme. The bespoke design included Pulsar Chroma Floods plus ETC Source 4 profiles to light the ceiling and walls within the space. The temporary installation ran for two weeks hosting a variety of parties and dinners.

The company were the chosen supplier to work with Butlins (Bourne Leisure) to help create their winter 'Igloo'. This entailed three identical systems for the resorts at Minehead, Skegness and Bognor Regis. With up to eight shows a day, the lighting and sound was all triggered by midi for the ease of the show running, along with LED units, Jester lighting Desks and simpleto-run sound systems. Illuminate staff provided a complete solution for the technical aspects of the event.

Other projects saw lighting for the National Trust to help to create some festive magic for their 'Christmas themed experience' plus a range of Christmas parties in Essex which required lighting and drapery.

No Christmas would be complete without Pantomime...Illuminate Design supplied over 40 radio microphones, 30 moving lights, and provided over 3000 pyrotechnics to a number of venues, all of which proving this Christmas to be a busy time for the growing Colchester based company.

Commenting on the recent busy period Ben Payne Director says, "It's been a busy time for Illuminate, we're very proud to be involved in what has turned out to be our busiest winter ever. I'm delighted that we have been able to support both the pantomime and event sector at the same time. It's a testament to the hard work that's gone in over the last 18 months so that clients are coming back to us because they like what we do and what we offer them. 2015 shows no sign of let up for us."

Payne continues, "We've just appointed a new member of staff to help our the team with the growth of the company, and we are continually looking at our investments in stock to make sure that we can keep pace with demand."
