Gareth Stuckey and the Gigpiglet crew with JoeCos
Australia - JoeCo reports that Gigpiglet Productions Pty Ltd is now representing the BlackBox range of multi-channel audio recorders and players in Australia. Based in Surry Hills, NSW, Gigpiglet provides production and tour management, technical event planning, equipment rental, location and studio recording services throughout the territory. Clients range from international artists, engineers and producers through to broadcast companies, sporting event planners and local government organisations.

The Gigpiglet team has worked with JoeCo's award-winning BlackBox products since the first models were released in 2009. The computer-free 24- and 64-channel 1RU recording and playback systems are compatible with any analogue and digital consoles, or other equipment, offering a range of i/o options that include MADI, DANTE, AES, Lightpipe and analogue line or mic. Audio is recorded directly to an external USB2/3 drive in Broadcast WAV format and can be instantly re-purposed for archiving, re-mixing or post production applications.

JoeCo's most recent release, the BlackBox BBR1MP Recorder, was awarded a Best of Show accolade at the recent AES Convention in Los Angeles and is nominated for a Technical Excellence and Creativity (TEC) Award in the 30th Annual series, which will be celebrated at the forthcoming NAMM Show. The BBR1MP offers all the standard BlackBox features as well as 24 high-quality microphone preamps, operating at up to 24bit/96kHz, which are integrated into the recorder's tiny 1U housing. The BBR1MP features a range of connection options including individually switchable mic/line inputs and balanced outputs, video sync, timecode and word clock inputs - all controllable from an iPad interface!

"We are delighted to welcome Gigpiglet Productions as our new representative in Australia, says JoeCo's Joe Bull. "We've known Gareth Stuckey for many years and his in-depth knowledge of our products allows him and his team to hit the ground running. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration in this growing marketplace."

Gareth Stuckey, director of Gigpiglet Productions adds, "Gigpiglet has been using JoeCo products since their inception, with countless live recordings and broadcasts for artists such as Taylor Swift, Rudimental, Block Party, Ed Sheeran, Madden Brothers, Pink and Passenger to name a few. Their ease of use and input flexibility has been integral in producing shows such as NOVA's red room, as well as corporate installations in boardrooms, courtrooms and more."

All JoeCo models, including the new BBR1MP Recorder, are now available for sale, hire, or demo from Gigpiglet Productions.
