K.M.E.'s VB 208 on debut in Frankfurt
Germany - The VB 208 from K.M.E. is a passive subwoofer with two 8" neodymium speakers in a hybrid cabinet. By using the combination of bass-reflex housing and horn system a powerful and precise bass sound reproduction with high SPL at low dimensions is achieved, says the company. Two VB 208 together with two passive 8" top units VL 8 and a digital controller amplifier DA 428 with system preset form the ultra-compact actively channelled system S1+ with low transport weight and high power.

The installation version VB 208 i offers a special mounting set for a quick and safe wall or ceiling installation mounted on four M8 threaded bolts. Due to the small installation height of 25 cm and depth of 54 cm the VB 208 i is suitable for applications within small theatres, churches, restaurant and conference rooms.

The VSS 28 is a very compact and light-weight subwoofer with two 8" 500w and two 200w. The system includes completely digital amplifier technology and integrated audio DSP. Construction and dimensions are identical with VB 208. Together with two small size loudspeakers VL 3 i an ultra-compact active system SD 1 is created.

The systems are coated with the K.M.E. specific polyurethane coating in black. The VB 208 i is also available in white as standard. A ball proof front grid made from steel with acoustic foam mechanically protects the speaker components and supports decent appearance.
