India - Planned by noted French architect Le Corbusier and capital of two of India's state governments (Punjab and Haryana), Chandigarh (The Beautiful City) hosts the headquarters of key rental company A One Global Entertainment, which recently purchased a GTO C-12 line array by Italian manufacturer Outline.

Since it was established in 1980 by Rakesh Thakur, as well as working on television, special, sports and corporate events, A One has provided sound reinforcement, lighting and video for a wide variety of touring artists and its expert audio engineers can cater for events of any size or type.

Working to maintain the founder's motto of "There is no substitute for quality", the company's technicians are led by Nitin Thakur, a certified audio engineer from Singapore's School of Audio Engineering, who also has specialist certification from several top audio manufacturers.

Impressed by the performance and reliability of its existing Outline Mantas line array, the rental company met with the manufacturer for discussions at this year's Palm Expo in Mumbai and sealed the deal.

Nitin Thakur explains, "We've been following Outline's success on the world market for some time and first purchased its Mantas line array with DBS18-2 sub woofers, which we've used extensively and completely hitch-free for two years. We listened to Outline's Butterfly at the expo, but decided to purchase a GTO C-12 system."

The newly purchased GTO system takes its place alongside A One's stock of Outline equipment, which as, well as the Mantas systems, also includes Spectra enclosures and stage monitors.

Confirming that the company also plans to purchase a Butterfly system in the near future, Thakur adds, "During our very interesting meetings on the White Eagle Entertainment booth in Mumbai, Outline's technical experts gave us in-depth information on their product line."
