Claudia Pava Davila becomes Le Mark's new exclusive agent in Colombia.
UK / Colombia - Le Mark, the UK-based supplier of specialist tapes, labels, flooring and other accessories to the entertainment industry, has announced the formation of a new venture in Colombia.

Le Mark's managing director Stuart Gibbons recently visited the country, primarily to introduce Le Mark's acclaimed Manero Ultra Lite portable 'floating' dance floor to the South American market. "However, Colombian clients were extremely enthusiastic about the full range of both self-adhesive StudioTak and our excellent portable vinyl performance floors," says Gibbons.

While there, Gibbons had the opportunity to spend time working with Claudia Pava Davila and was impressed by her sales and marketing abilities. It quickly became obvious to Gibbons that Claudia had developed an excellent relationship with potential television and production company clients based in Colombia's second largest city of MedellĂn.

Gibbons continued: "The more we discussed with clients the full range of Le Mark products, the more it became obvious there was a great opportunity (and need) to have formal representation in Colombia."

He added: "This is an exciting project and I feel our timing is perfect. Colombia is seeing strong and sustained growth. This in turn is allowing many elements of the entertainment industry following the same path. I had the opportunity to visit two TV stations and it was very encouraging to learn that both were expanding, with new studios seeing completion in early 2012."

Davila is a graduate of the Uninversdad Pontificia Bolivariana where she studied Industrial Design. She has 10 years' experience in product marketing and has her own importation business with links throughout South America and Miami. "Le Mark is committed to growing this venture and we welcome Claudia into the team," says Gibbons.

To reinforce Le Mark's South American strategy, Le Mark will be exhibiting this year at the LDI exhibition in Orlando.
