OpenAir St. Gallen is one of Switzerland's longest running sell-out events, attracting more than 110,000 visitors to Sittertobel each year
Switzerland - Following Intellitix's cashless success at the SummerDays Festival in Arbon, Switzerland over two consecutive summers, Intellitix and its strategic partner Swisscom Event & Media Solutions will deliver their proprietary Cashless Payment and Access Control solutions at next year's OpenAir St. Gallen festival held from 30 June to 3 July.

Intellitix's advanced Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology platform will enhance the event's previously used Cashless Payment system, offering more efficient and simpler organisational workflows and processes. The event organisers' have embraced adoption of Intellitix's market-tested Access Control and Cashless Payment solutions.

Chief financial officer, Cyril Stadler, was particularly impressed by the Cashless Payment system's data security, which fulfils the highest standards: "Intellitix, in collaboration with Swisscom Event & Media Solutions, offers trustworthy products and services, which have been successful in the events market globally for years. The solutions they offer lead the way internationally and are delivered in a high security and stable environment."

The Intellitix RFID technology to be deployed has a proven track record of success across major international events such as Tomorrowland in Belgium which sees an audience flow of 100,000 unique visitors per day, as well as at Electric Zoo in the US.

Serge Grimaux, Head Pilot and CEO of Intellitix adds, "We have a very established presence across North America, South America, and Europe, and we'll be delivering our event expertise to help OpenAir St. Gallen's organisers create an immersive RFID and Cashless environment for an enhanced guest experience.

"Customers can make cashless purchases with a simple double-tap of their festival wristband, allowing them to enjoy the music and festivities without worrying about safety or security of their funds, or long queuing and wait times. It's the future of all events and we're proud to service one of Switzerland's most reputable and established music festivals."
