Out Board will preview iPad and iPhone apps developed to control the TiMax2 SoundHub mix matrix, playback server and audio show control matrix. Simple factory-default setups are user-configurable, and a custom programming service provides bespoke GUIs specifically tailored to individual systems and sound effects control projects.

Also on demonstration will be the new S-Version software features for the TiMax2 SoundHub - the PanSpace effects map and TimeLine Editor for in-depth sound-effects programming, featuring multi-channel waveform-based editing, looping, panning, volume profiling and versatile show control trigger management. TiMax2 SoundHub is a scaleable mix-engine, sound effects playback server and delay-matrix platform which offers up to 64 channels of analogue or AES I/O - with MADI, Ethersound, CobraNet and Dante networking options - in a single compact 2U chassis.

It will be joined at PLASA 2011 by what the company calls the "revolutionary" UWB TiMax Tracker performer tracking radar system, which follows actors or presenters onstage to make radio-mic audio or sound effects continuously localise to their position in 3D space.

In conjunction with software associates Data Strategy Ltd, Out Board will also launch the all-new re-vamped line of PAT-4 Test Processors for portable appliance test, cable test and RCD test, in conjunction with the PATData multi-client database logging software. PAT-4 comes in Single-Phase and 3-Phase versions at 16A and 32A variants, with add-on CAB-5 modules for power cable test up to 30 cores and RCD-T for RCD tests on equipment racks and distros.

Finally, the industry-standard workhorse LV-Series and DV-Series Motor Controllers for demanding touring and installation rigging applications will also be on show.
