ArchiPoint has a high intensity output even visible in daylight
UK - PLASA 2012 will see lighting solutions provider, Architainment Lighting Ltd, present its largest and broadest range of LED lighting technology to date.

On display at Architainment PLASA stand (1-E47) will be a selection of Philips Color Kinetics and Philips Entertainment Group LED technology - some brand new, some old favourites, and others that bridge the gap between the entertainment and architectural lighting markets.

Among the new fittings on show at Architainment Lighting's stand is Philips Color Kinetics ArchiPoint. iColor Powercore will also make its debut at PLASA. A versatile exterior LED, ArchiPoint has a high intensity output even visible in daylight, and is suited for direct-view applications within both entertainment and architectural installations. It can display large-scale video, graphics, and intricately designed effects, all of which can be managed by either Philips controllers such as Video System Manager Pro, Light System Manager, and iPlayer 3, or third party control systems. The fitting has a high intensity output with the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of Powercore technology.

Like ArchiPoint, Philips Color Kinetics fittings such as iColor Flex, ColorGraze and Color Accent Powercore, are often associated with architectural installations, but are actually specified just as often for entertainment projects. In the past Architainment has supplied iColor Flex as stage lighting for the likes of Radiohead and Pink. It has also been used to create some very successful interactive installations such as Clink Street tunnel, the British Film Institute headquarters, and Jason Bruges award winning Platform 5 installation in Sunderland railway station. A range of these fittings will be on show and available for demonstration at Architainment's PLASA stand.

Architainment will also be exhibiting the ColorBlast and ColorBlaze family of products which are favourites within the entertainment sector, with Architainment having supplied both the ColorBlast TRX and the iW Blast for Channel 5's newly refurbished newsroom in central London. The ColorBlaze range continues to remain popular within entertainment lighting, specifically the ColorBlaze TRX, a versatile, linear RGBAW LED fixture designed for concert, theatre, television and stage lighting; it incorporates red, green, blue, amber, and white LEDs to achieve an expanded colour palette.

Over the past few years Architainment has worked with lighting designers and specifiers to help realise numerous entertainment projects, including concert lighting for George Michael, Shakira,Pink and Radiohead, television lighting for various shows including the X-Factor and permanent installations including Fire and Matter nightclubs.

Architainment Lighting will be sharing stand 1-E47 with Dry Hire Lighting, a company established to supply LED technology and other lighting products to rental companies on a dry hire only basis.
