The AC-ET Zone will feature the latest lighting, control and grip technologies from a selection of leading brands
UK - A.C. Entertainment Technologies (AC-ET) will launch their new sales division, A.C. Film & TV, by showcasing the division's portfolio of specialist brands and related services in their exhibition zone (stands F30 - F38) at the PLASA 2015 Show on Sunday, 4 October.

The AC-ET Zone will feature the latest lighting, control and grip technologies from a selection of leading brands in the division's extensive portfolio. Marques stocked include Chroma-Q, Fiilex, Mole-Richardson, ARRI, Jands, Manfrotto, Avenger and LumenRadio, amongst others.

Drawing on the company's extensive experience supplying to this sector, the new division has been formed to offer a comprehensive one-stop inventory of lighting and related equipment solutions for film, television, studio and location applications. A.C. Film & TV will promote a range of key brands - many of them exclusive to AC-ET in the UK - which have been selected for their class-leading performance and expertise in this market. The portfolio includes a complete range of solutions to meet all users' LED-based and traditional tungsten, HMI or fluorescent lighting needs.

For applications requiring the latest energy-efficient, easy to use LED sources, the award-winning Chroma-Q Studio Force Phosphor range provides a beautifully soft, even light source with a massive output, available in a choice of colour temperatures. See the recently launched Studio One 100 white LED PAR, which has been nominated for the PLASA Awards for Innovation. The fixture features a fully homogenised output producing a smooth, uniform and defined beam - for above PAR performance from a white source.

In addition, catch a preview of the innovative new Space Force LED space light fixture. Highly efficient and natively single source, the fixture is colour tunable between 2700K and 6000K. Additionally, the diffuse nature of its output negates the need for silks or skirts.

For location work, the Fiilex hard light source range utilises multiple colours of LEDs to produce a fuller spectrum than is traditionally experienced from single colour LED light sources. The high quality, colour tuneable light output produces exceptional colour rendition on camera. All models run off standard V-Loc batteries, come with a versatile accessories kit, and range in size to suit different applications.

For film lighting applications, Mole-Richardson have taken their vast experience in traditional tungsten-source Fresnels and Spacelites to create a range of LED-based models producing comparable outputs to their traditional tungsten source equivalents, yet consuming up to 80% less power. The brand's full range of traditional lighting models is also available.

A.C. Film & TV also provide a range of studio lighting & control solutions, including the multi award- winning Jands Stage CL console for extremely simple control of LED systems, and the award-winning Jands Vista console range for more sophisticated, multiple light-source setups. In addition, the award-winning LumenRadio range of wireless DMX and RDM lighting control products is also available.

A.C. Film & TV also offer an extensive catalogue of grip equipment - including Manfrotto's vast range of lighting support solutions, and Avenger range of equipment meeting the strictest quality standards and performance criteria demanded by the cine market.

In addition, the division stocks a full range of all popular and leading-brand consumables. AC-ET's Cable Express service provides fast delivery on specialised and custom cable assemblies such as Powerlock, BAC, Socapex and Head to Ballast extension cables.

AC-ET's managing director, Phill Capstick, comments, "AC-ET are well known internationally for supplying to the entertainment market, but we are less known for our huge film & TV expertise and product portfolio, having always supplied to this sector.
