Also available from Proel is the New monitor range from Alto, the company's PAM series of live sound monitors. It comprises the PAM5 passive live monitor and PAM5A active live monitor, there is also a 170.7/100V version, the PAM5T.

Equipped with twin five-inch extended range speakers, the passive PAM5 will handle 100W (AES), has a frequency response of 75Hz-16kHz and a sensitivity of 94dB, delivering a maximum 114dB at 100W. Weighing only 10lbs (4.5kg), the PAM5 measures 315x195x195mm. The enclosure is manufactured from anthracite-coloured high-resistant plastic, for lightness and roadworthiness.

The active member of the PAM family, the PAM5A utilizes the same drivers, but comes with a built-in power amplifier delivering 100W RMS (2x50W Class A/B). Frequency response is 75Hz-16kHz and the weight is 12lbs (5.5kg).

Ideal for the install market, the PAM5T delivers 60W (AES) and is switchable across 7.07 and 100V options, in a variety of impedance/power settings. Maximum SPL at 60W is 110dB. Four M4 fittings are provided (two vertical, two horizontal) along with a full range of switchable parameters including push-button operation of constant voltage and a slide slector for passive (16 Ohm)/Line (70.7V/100V).
