Visit Roland Systems Group at PLASA Focus – stand R-B12
UK - Roland Systems Group (R-B12) will be bringing professional audio and video together at PLASA Focus (Leeds, 29-30 April 2014), providing total solutions for live performance as well as professional audio and video production. With a focus on newly launched products for live mixing, switching, recording and web streaming, Roland will exhibit the VR-3EX AV Mixer, the M-480 and M-200i Digital Mixing Consoles, the VR-50HD High Definition AV Mixer, V-800HD Live Video Switcher and S-2416 Digital Snake at the show.

Now available with a five-year warranty, the Roland M-480 48 Channel Digital Console offers an enhanced level of flexible audio processing with superb sound quality, powerful functions, expandability options and intuitive operation. With 48 mixing channels plus 6 stereo returns for a total of 60 channels, six built-in stereo (dual-mono) multi-effects and twelve graphic EQs (switchable to 8-band PEQs), 4-band advanced parametric EQ and delays on all inputs and outputs, the M-480 is ideal for live events, mobile production, broadcasting and sound installation.

The latest addition to the popular VR Series of 'all in one' AV mixers from Roland, the VR-3EX provides an affordable front end solution for live production, web streaming and recording. The innovative design of both the VR-3EX and VR-50HD incorporate a video switcher, audio mixer, touchscreen preview monitor and streaming-ready USB output all in a single unit. The VR-50HD has the added benefit of HD/multi-format capability.

The Roland M-200i is a compact 32 channel professional digital mixing console offering the flexibility and mobility of comprehensive iPad control. The fully functional iPad application enables remote control of all the key features of the M-200i including pre-amp control, pan, high pass filters and PEQ and GEQ control. It also includes the ability to store and recall scenes, adjust compressors and gates, sends on faders and effect editing. The benefit of the remote control application is the ability to control the mix from any location in the venue (within the wireless network), allowing the user to adjust the levels from different points.

Making its debut to the UK market at PLASA Focus, the Roland S-2416 digital snake stage unit offers 24 analogue pre-amps and 16 analogue outputs. The S-2416 also hosts an 8 x 8 AES/EBU port to provide a digital input/output environment enabling direct connection to speaker processors, amps and other devices. When both the analogue and AES/EBU I/O are combined the S-2416 can achieve up to 32 inputs and 24 outputs. In addition to the analog and digital inputs and outputs, the S-2416 has two REAC ports (Roland Ethernet Audio Communication) that enable an additional snake in cascade for expanded inputs and outputs or for a fully redundant, zero-loss audio back-up solution.

Suitable for any live event or installation, the V-800HD is a true multi-format video mixer meaning there is no need to match input sources to the output resolution. Every input has its own broadcast quality scaler that can individually scale, stretch, crop and zoom each source as required to fit any output resolution chosen.

The product portfolio from Roland Systems Group includes digital consoles, personal mixers, multi-channel recorders, audio recorders, video switchers and mixers, video converters and editors.
