UK - Sennheiser's 2015 charity golf day, held at the beginning of July each year to raise money for the Caron Keating Foundation, was another resounding success after customers, suppliers and friends took to the green at Bearwood Lakes Golf Club in Berkshire.

Eighty golfers teed up for a bit of friendly competition to raise money for the foundation, which provides a range of support services for cancer patients and their families, and over 90 arrived for dinner, a charity auction, and entertainment hosted by Russ Williams.

The day involved a range of events that included a long putt challenge, a game of heads and tails and the infamous raffle, giving participants plenty of opportunity to showcase their skill, or luck, while raising money for a superb and worthwhile charity.

Three customers - Autograph, Rocom and European Wealth, Sennheiser's benefits providers, sponsored holes, and Corptel UK donated two VIP tickets to any Manchester United game for the upcoming season. Together with the rest of the attendees Sennheiser managed to raise over £15,000 on the day, and over the 20 years it has been supporting various cancer charities estimates that over half a million pounds has been donated.

"We'd like to extend a massive thank you once again to the customers, resellers and friends who attended our annual event, which we're pleased to say was a resounding success," said Paul Whiting, president, strategic collaborations at Sennheiser. "The range of entertainment provided throughout the day was first class, as was the generosity of everyone who took part. It was a sterling effort to raise money for a very good cause and a great way to mark our 20th anniversary of this annual event. We're already looking forward to next year and can't wait to welcome everyone back for our 21st."
