Leading on-line sound effects resource - www.sound-effects-library.com - has announced the signing of some of Hollywood’s most prestigious sound designers. By co-publishing with SoundStorm via Audio Network plc and The Sound Company, they add yet further talent to the extensive on-line resource, which already makes available virtually any sound at a click of a button.

Hollywood sound designers, SoundStorm, whose Oscar-winning talents have accumulated over 200,000 sound effects from films such as Batman and Robin, Clear and Present Danger, The Fugitive, The Fast and the Furious, Tomb Raider and Star Trek: Nemesis to name a few, have only recently made their library available outside their own in-house editorial team and it is now accessible on-line at www.sound-effects-library.com. Led by supervising sound editors, Bruce Stambler and John Leveque, they have no fewer than six Academy Award nominations and one award for ‘The Ghost and the Darkness’. The first tranche of nearly 20,000 sound effects is being added now, and the full 200,000 effects will be added over the next few months.

The Sound Company, one of the most knowledgeable and well-respected producers of sound effects in the world, have over the past five years conceptualized, recorded, edited, compiled, mixed and mastered over 200 CD products for the leading CD sound effects and production music companies throughout the world.

‘This is a very exciting time for us’ quotes Lloyd Billing, managing director of www.sound-effects-library.com and its parent company, The Tape Gallery. "Not only do we have the world’s largest on-line library of sound-effects, music samples and music tracks, but we are unsurpassable in the quality of our content for choice, diversity and sound design skill!"
