UK - TOA Europe is showing a host of mixing and audio product innovations for the first time in the UK at PLASA Focus: Leesds 2011.

"Fresh from exhibiting at ProLight+Sound, Plasa Focus: Leeds 2011 is the type of event that audio technicians and specialists attend to find out more about the latest audio innovations for current and upcoming projects. TOA is be there in force to answer their every need or question related to audio-mixing," says Brett Downing, sales and marketing director at TOA Europe.

First in line is TOA's M-633D digital mixer, which is designed for handling demanding acoustic commercial spaces producing clear, intelligible and distortion-free audio. It's simple to use even by the most unskilled operator, says the company.

It has an Automatic Resonance Control function that identifies room mode frequencies and applies an inverse response curve to the audio output. An Automatic Clip Guard function is designed to suppress distortion, while the Feedback Suppression option automatically subdues any sudden feedback that can occur when a meeting participant moves around while holding a connected microphone.

Widely used "in some of today's most dynamic audio and acoustic environments", the TOA D-2000 system is being demonstrated. It combines the functions of mixing, matrix switching and signal processing, all in a single unit. The systems table-mounted and remote console unit boasts a tiny footprint. For larger, more complex systems the product can be expanded up to 128 audio inputs and outputs.

The M-9000 digital matrix mixer is also be on display. This product is generally used for multi-zone paging, music distribution and room-combining applications. Combining a modular matrix mixer with a digital signal processor, the unit comprises two-racks of space.

Complementing the product line-up will be a range of H Series digital amplifiers, DSP units and the full range of ceiling and wall speakers.

TOA is on on Stand S-B20 at Plasa Focus: Leeds 2011.
