Spain - Vieta has launched a new addition to its super-compact remote-controlled amplifier system, the Ti Line. The Ti-2510 is a multi-input SD Player with microphone and line level inputs which turns the Ti Line suite of products into an all-in-one-place audio system for a wide variety of installations, says the company.

The Ti Line system is designed for low to medium power use in fixed installations. It comprises small, modular blocks, built to DIN rail size and fixing standards, which are a valuable space-saver. The system is inexpensive and flexible, it can be controlled via a PC network, by infra-red remote or by simple wall-mounted control boxes.

The arrival of the Ti-2510 creates a complete Ti-Line system with integrated source device, although the SD Player can be used as a stand-alone unit in any audio application. Like other models in the Series, it is compact, occupying only a 9U wide space on the DIN rail, with front-panel controls as well as full network capability.

The SD player features a latest-generation MP3 decoder chip which will play both MP3 and WMA files and is suitable for SD cards up to 2GB capacity, or up to 32 hours playing time.

The Ti-2510 is fitted with four General Purpose Inputs (GPIs) which greatly expand its flexibility as they can be used remotely to trigger simple or complex changes in the settings of the unit, including such commonly requested applications as making announcements via an announcement microphone, and playing pre-recorded messages, by connection to a playback machine.
