The Netherlands - Vivitek has announced the expansion of its successful D3000 series of projectors with the launch of its new DH3331, a full HD 1080P projection solution, offering a rich feature set and capable of delivering "outstanding image quality". The D3000 series is suitable for corporate and education applications - including boardrooms, conference rooms and teaching spaces - and the DH3331 is set to further expand the range's appeal.

Boasting a Full HD 1080p resolution, 5,000 ANSI lumens and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, the DH3331 is designed to offer a high quality, sharp and bright image. In addition, the projector features new DICOM Simulation Mode making it ideal for viewing grayscale medical images - such as X-rays - for medical training and seminars. The dual-7W built-in speakers and the microphone input ensure clear sound in a meeting room.

"We have designed and engineered our D3000 series of projectors to include a feature set that puts them at the front of the pack in terms of image quality, performance, compatibility and durability," says Holger Graeff, general manager, Vivitek EMEA. "To make the user experience with the DH3331 even more engaging, the Vivitek NovoPRO solution can be added as the hub for wireless collaboration between multiple devices. The NovoPRO platform is designed to ensure a top quality wireless connection to accommodate today's popular Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) concept."

The solution ensures cross OS platform compatibility, yet at a price-performance point that makes it easily affordable for any meeting room, boardroom or brainstorm space. To make operation simpler, the optional launcher allows for instantaneous screen sharing though this USB plug-and-play connected device, says the company.

The D3000 series also comprises the 5,100lm DW3321 and the 6,000lm DX3351 offering WXGA and XGA resolution respectively.
