UK - The Guildford-based Academy of Contemporary Music has confirmed its appointment of cable specialist Van Damme as an official sponsor of the college. The deal will ensure that every new student will receive a selection of cables from the recently launched Van Damme Musician Series. This will be incorporated into ACM's Gig Bag, a welcome pack given to every student at the start of his or her college career.

The Academy of Contemporary Music is regarded as one of the UK's finest music education institutions. Students have access to superb music education facilities and are taught in an environment that encourages effective networking with other serious musicians. Whether they enrol on an entry level beginners course or the BA Honours degree, students benefit from the thousands of hours of high level industry experience that has enabled the ACM teaching staff to create and deliver programmes that are internationally recognised for their quality and innovation.

Many top MI brands are official sponsors of ACM, but in terms of cable only Van Damme has been chosen. David Howell, general manager of the college, says: "ACM is very proud to be working with Van Damme on this range of cables. The deal will provide all our Guitar, Bass and Vocal students with some of the best quality equipment on the market."

The Van Damme Musician Series is a range of high quality hand-terminated instrument, speaker and microphone cables that have been designed, engineered and refined as a result of customer-driven requirements.
