UK / Spain - Cadac Holdings has announced the appointment of Adagio.pro as exclusive distributor of its new range of analogue and digital compact consoles in Spain and Portugal.

Headquartered outside of Barcelona, Adagio.pro is the pro-audio distribution arm of Grupo Adagio, which also incorporates an extensive MI distribution division and owns a chain of music and pro-audio stores throughout Spain and Portugal; including the Music Gallery stores within the leading El Corte Ingles chain of department stores in Spain. The company owns exclusive distribution rights to some of the leading pro audio brands in the region.

Commenting on the agreement, international sales development manager Vincenzo Borrelli stated, "Adagio.pro is an ideal distribution partner for our new line up of analogue and digital consoles, which are aimed at the general pro audio and live sound sectors, beyond Cadac's traditional theatre sound market.

"The new console range, of the CDC Four, CDC Eight, LIVE1 and S-Type, is a unique offering, unsurpassable in terms of sound quality, engineering and value. Distributors of the calibre of Adagio.pro, that offer a product portfolio of complementary premium brands, and a fully professional level of sales and product support, are key to the international success of this product range."

Commenting for Adagio.pro, product manager Marc Rovira said, "2012 begins with great news for Adagio.pro as the famous Cadac brand joins our extensive product portfolio. Cadac has always been known as a manufacturer of high quality, high end production consoles. Now the company's new range of advanced analogue and digital consoles introduces the same historic engineering quality and famous Cadac sound across the full range of live sound and fixed installation applications. At Adagio.pro we believe Cadac is the perfect console range to add to our portfolio of premium quality brands."
