India - Jaipur-based rental company Chopra Sound has invested in 24 of Martin Audio’s flagship WPL line array enclosures. This will ‘redefine large-scale event production’ for the family business across the Indian north-west state of Rajasthan.

Sweden - Hip hop star Ant Wan’s brief career featured hits like Malaika and Komplicerat before announcing his retirement in 2025.

Months before he withdrew from the public eye, the artist appeared at Stockholm’s Tele2 arena. A record number of fans saw him there, surpassing even the crowd drawn by Madonna. Setting the mood for the occasion was an evocative lighting design by Jakob Larsson of Light It Production, who worked closely with artistic director Alexander Wessely.

The two collaborators created a powerful theatrical sense on the big stage with a show that was divided into three parts: the first marked by a ‘cold snow’ theme with cool colours and snow machine effects; the second characterised by a ‘fire theme’, animated by oranges and reds along with pyro effects; and the third (on a satellite stage) featured peaco

Germany - Prolight + Sound, the trade fair for event and entertainment technology, has been held in Frankfurt am Main for over 30 years. However, its organisers have announced that following the end of the early bird booking period at the end of September 2025, the feedback from exhibitors for the event in March 2026 has not been sufficient to guarantee that Prolight + Sound can be held satisfactorily. For this reason, Messe Frankfurt has decided not to hold the event as a stand-alone edition. Instead, a scenario has been developed that includes making an offer to those exhibitors who could benefit from synergies with Light + Building, the trade fair for lighting and building technology.

Light + Building will take place from 8 to 13 March 2026, just under two weeks before the originally planned Prolight + Sound (24 to 26 March

Austria - Follow-Me has played a vital role in the elaborate production of Der Freischütz at the Bregenzer Festspiele in Austria with its Follow-Me 3D SIX and Follow-Me Track-iT systems. The production, held on the festival's 2,500sq,m stage on Lake Constance, presented technical challenges requiring both automated and manual tracking capabilities to accommodate performers emerging from water and navigating complex steel structures.

Carl Maria von Weber's opera Der Freischütz captivated audiences in German director Philipp Stölzl's production, reaching approximately 374,000 people across 55 performances during the 2024/25 seasons. Stölzl, who served as director and designer for both stage and lighting, created a spooky, poetic world for this romantic horror story.

Sweden - For nearly 140 years, Nalen has been hosting the performances that shaped Swedish culture – from the artists who graced its stage in the 1950s and 60s, to the diverse roster of contemporary acts that keep its calendar packed with over 100 concerts and events annually.

The 19th-century Stockholm concert hall's architectural constraints – strict weight limits, sightline restrictions, and a protected building status – meant that the aging sound system needed replacing with something both powerful and ingenious.

Working with consultant Fredrik Martinsson of Comet Audio, Nalen assessed these challenges and identified the requirements for a premium solution. Several integrators were asked to propose systems. JLE Audio AB, an L-Acoustics certified provider with over 20 years of experience with the brand, was selected based on the strength of

“It’s always a privilege to work with Sami Yusuf,” said Scott Willsallen, director at Auditoria. “He surrounds himself with exceptional musicians, and his music draws on such a diverse range of traditions. To bring that to life in a 2,000-year-old theatre was really special.”

Delivered by integrator Creative Technology Middle East (CTME) for entertainment company MDLBeast, the production combined LED technology, sophisticated media systems, and advanced lighting design to create an immersive visual and audio experience. Central to this spectacle was INFiLED’s ART 4.6 LED series, which provided over 332sq.m of visuals across the stage and venue.

As the technical production partner, CTME led the design, supply, and installation of all video, lighting, and camera equipment for the EWC AFT_r Concerts. The brief called for an ambitious, high-impact setup capable of deliveri

USA - St. Bartholomew’s Church in New York City required a new sound system that could meet modern performance standards without compromising its architectural beauty. To achieve this balance, the church worked with manufacturer’s representative AudioPros, design consultant Salas O’Brien and AV integrator IVCi to deploy an audio system using EAW AC6 ADAPTive column loudspeakers.

“For this project there was only one option that met the needs of what the leadership at St. Bartholomew’s was looking for,” says Andrew Shillo, principal at AudioPros, EAW’s regional sales representative. “EAW’s ADAPTive system was the best solution because it not only provided quality sound coverage, but was architecturally pleasing without disturbing the historical nature of the space.”

The church’s design made for a challenging acoustic environment.

Norway - Lighting designer Jon Eirik Sira thought outside the box when tackling an interesting visual conundrum for Det Vestnorske Teateret in Bergen’s recent production of Skulerevyen (School Review). Jon has been head of lighting at the theatre – located in the centre of Norway’s second largest city – since 2019, and is also involved in other locally based theatre projects. He was instrumental in the venue investing in 24 x Robe LEDBeam 350s, which have been added to the house lighting rig over the last four years.

For Skulerevyen, he looked at a more ‘classic’ Robe product – the MediaSpinner 50 AT – to provide an imaginative technical solution. Launched in 2006, the Robe M
